DDEC V ECM I/O Configuration - Dialog Box
The DDEC V ECM I/O Configuration dialog box is displayed when you
choose ECM I/O Configuration from
the Diagnostics menu with a DDEC V connected. Read More: How to Connecting the DETROIT Engines using Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL).

A). DDEC V Input Screen
As with earlier DDEC versions the inputs are listed for information purposes
only - they cannot be changed with the Detroit Diesel Diagnostic Link (DDDL).
To save a record of the input configuration:
→Press Save.
The record will be saved to a file, which will be given an
automatically generated name - a message box will be displayed
showing the name and location of the file.
To print the input configuration:
→Press Print.
The Print dialog box will be displayed so that you can choose how to
print the data. This dialog box is also displayed when you choose Print from the File.
B). DDEC V Output Screen

a). Click in the row for the output function you want to set (you can
scroll the list if necessary).
→When you select one of the On/Off outputs, the value box
below the table is a drop-down list box with ON and OFF values (as in the
picture).
→When you select one of the PWM Outputs, the value box below the table is a spin box allowing you to set a percentage value.

b). Either:
→Select ON or OFF from the drop-down list to
set the value to on or off.
→Or - Type in a new percentage or click on the spin buttons to
set a PWM output.
c). Press Set to set the function value. After you have pressed
Set the value will be set and the ECM will not be able to change it until
you close the dialog box.
d). Repeat Steps 1, 2 and 3 for any other functions that you want to
set.

When you press Close to close the DDEC V ECM I/O Configuration
dialog box the function values will be reset and they will again be under the
control of the ECM.
To save a record of the input configuration:
→Press Save.

→Press Print.
