PTO Mode (Ramp Up/Ramp Down) to Controls the Engine Speed for Caterpillar Engines

PTO Mode

Figure 1.1 - Increase/Decrease RPM (C15 Engine)

PTO Mode allows the ECM to be programmed to either one of the two PTO Configurations that are available.
  • Ramp Up/Ramp Down - When PTO Mode is programmed to Ramp Up/Ramp Down, the ECM allows PTO operation with traditional features.
  • Set/Resume - When PTO Mode is programmed to Set/Resume, the ECM allows PTO operation with enhanced features.

1 Response to "PTO Mode (Ramp Up/Ramp Down) to Controls the Engine Speed for Caterpillar Engines"

  1. The PTO mode ramp up/ramp down control provides a smooth and controlled way to engage and disengage the PTO, which can help to protect the PTO and other components from damage. This feature is also useful for applications where precise control of the PTO speed is required.
