1). Check the wiring between the Sensor and the Transmitter.
→Faulty cable, improper wire termination, or loose wires or connectors.
→Shorts to the housing created by trapped or damaged
wires.
2). Inspect the Sensor and Core Processor
→For sensors with a junction box, check for
moisture inside the junction box (Ensure that the junction box is dry and no corrosion is present).

| Figure 1.3 - Core Processor (TH050 Sensor) |
#Possible Cause
→Moisture inside the sensor junction box (short circuit).
→Liquid or moisture inside the sensor case (intermittent signal).
→Sensor/Core Processor damage.

| Figure 1.4 - Water/Moisture Ingress |
#Recommended Action
→Dry completely with clean compressed air, and clean corrosion on terminals with contact cleaner/electrical cleaner.
→Check gasket and o-ring on the housing cover. Replace if hardener or torn.
→Check cable glands at the bottom (most common entry point for water).
→Connect the wires to the Core Processor.
→Reseal with silicone grease on the gasket before closing.
→Replace the Core Processor.
3). Replace the Sensor Assembly (TH050/ Model 800)
→Disconnect the wires to the Core Processor.
→Remove the piping and the sensor assembly.
→Replace the corroded bolts.
→Mount the Sensor (Flow direction arrow on the sensor case matches the actual
forward flow of the process).

4). Connect with ProLink III
→Check the Calibration Factors (Refer to the Name Plate) = Device Tools - Calibration Data.
