→The Current Totals screen displays the current total values for the different parameters listed. These totals aid in the analysis of many important factors related to the use of the truck or machine.
→To run the Current Totals function, select Current Totals from the Information menu. The Current Totals screen is displayed (refer to Figure 1.1 above).

1). Connect Caterpillar ET Software to the ECM. Read More: How to Connecting Caterpillar ET Software to ECM.
2). Click on Information - Current Totals.

Current Totals:
→Total Operating Hours (hours)
→Total Idle Time (hours)
→Total Fuel (Gal)
→Total Idle Fuel (Gal)
→Total Max Fuel (Gal)
→Average Load Factor (%)
→Total Operating Hours (hours)
→Engine Starts
→Lifetime Total Engine Revolutions (rev)
→Percentage Idle Time (%)
→Average rpm (rpm)
→Average Fuel Rate (gal/h)
→Overall Load Factor (%)

Changing Parameter Values
The Change button allows the value of a selected parameter to be changed.
NOTE:
→When an unavailable parameter (read-only) is selected, the Change button is disabled.
→For specific parameters, a valid range for the parameter is included under the current value.

#To change the selected parameter:
3). Highlight the parameter to be changed and click the Change button. The Change Parameter Value dialog box is displayed.
4). Depending upon the parameter, either enter the new value in the New Value text box, or select the New Value from the drop-down list.

5). Click OK to accept the new value. The Are you sure… message box will be displayed. Click Yes to change the parameter, or click No to keep the current parameter value. The Tool Configuration screen will be displayed.

Note: To change or set a New Value for Total Time (Hours Meter), the Factory Password is needed. Read More: Factory Passwords on Caterpillar ET Software.
